Celtic-Indian Cufflink Box

Commissioned by a newly-wed for her husband, this box has a Celtic/Indian fusion design, supplied by the client, which reflects their respective cultural heritages. The background is book-matched walnut burr.

Privately commissioned box with flying geese design and Celtic knot internal design. As this was a gift for a Pearl Wedding Anniversary the centre of the knot design was set with a split pearl.

Basketweave Box

Hinged box in walnut with basketweave design and internal oval with rose motif.
Principal veneers used are walnut (box), sycamore (weave), birds-eye maple (side panels), aspen (oval) and pear (petals)
This box was awarded the Artistic Merit Cup at the National Marquetry Exhibition 2009.
